Pontypandy (Welsh pronunciation: [ˌpɔntəˈpandi]) is a fictional village located in South Wales and the main setting of the show Fireman Sam. It is a neighbouring town to Newtown.

- Pontypandy's name is a portmanteau of the actual towns Pontypridd and Tonypandy in South Wales.
- Pontypandy is called "Piekepolder" in the Dutch dub. It Is also called "Körmöspálcáson" in the Hungarian dub, "Ponttipantin" in Finnish , "Plamengradu" in Serbian and "Petelinji Vasi" in the Slovenian dub.
