Trivia[]
- The web link menu used on this DVD was later reused on the Saves the Day!, Let it Snow and Fun Run DVDs.
- This is first DVD/VHS release to contain episodes from Series 5.
- The aspect ratio of this release in Australia is 16:9 on DVD and 4:3 on VHS and iTunes.
- The Australian VHS is extremely rare to find.
- Not only that, this is the very last Fireman Sam video to be officially released on VHS in Australia, as well as the only Series 5 video to be released on VHS in that country.
- Earlier releases of this DVD in Australia had a Full Size Amaray DVD Case and a transparent G classification logo. However, just after the Australian Classification logos were changed, it was re-released with a carry case and the new classification logo, while the disc is the exact same.
- The UK DVD was re-released in 2014, with brand new menus (with the then-new Fireman Sam logo) and the removal of the HIT parade and the web link special features. Oddly, the entire packaging including the disc design remains the exact same as the 2005 release, retaining the old Fireman Sam and HIT Entertainment logos, and the S4C International logo. Because of this, it's hard to tell what version one would get of this release.
- The manufacturing date for this re-release (when accessed on a computer) is 4 September 2014.
