HIT Entertainment (styled "HiT") is a British/American entertainment distribution company owned by Mattel established in 1989, and originally the international distribution arm of Jim Henson Productions called Henson International Television (creators of The Muppets) (later reincorporated as HiT Communications plc.). It has also been the production company of Fireman Sam since 1996, repleacing the defunct Bumper Films. They are popular for their shows like Bob the Builder, Pingu, Angelina Ballerina, Mike the Knight and Thomas & Friends.
